Responsibilities
- Manage and lead transmission projects throughout the entire project life cycle, including scope and/or proposal development, project team development and assignment, project execution, project closeout, quality control, schedule, and budget management.
- Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort with the team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule.
- Lead the QA/QC process following HDR’s Quality Management System requirements with a commitment to delivering world-class quality.
- Support client relationship development and engage in broader business development activities with existing and target clients.
- Depending on candidate’s location, there would be an opportunity to recruit and supervise a team and provide oversight over workload, quality, utilization, team morale, and team development.
- Be responsible for overseeing non-engineering components of projects, including public involvement, environmental permitting, right of way acquisition, construction management, and other services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 7 years related experience
- A minimum 2 years project management experience
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience and client relationships in the Area are considered a strong advantage, Master’s degree, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus), Demonstrated leadership skills.
