Transmission Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of new and upgraded transmission lines, including material procurement and construction support through line energization.
• Scoping, budgeting, scheduling, planning, executing, monitoring and reporting of transmission line projects and proposals.
• Oversight of project teams of engineers, designers, drafters and support staff.
• Diligent execution of ECI's quality control procedure to ensure best-in-class project execution and delivery.
• Interactions with and coordination of ECI's subject matter expert discipline groups.
• Interface with and coordination with clients and other project stakeholders.
• Technical mentorship and training of project team design staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, 10+ years' project engineering experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated project management and leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
• Commitment to quality and accuracy.
• A willingness and ability to meet fast-paced project schedules.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of transmission engineering principals.
• Expertise regarding applicable codes, standards and design tools.
• The ability to direct and oversee multiple technical disciplines in the completion of transmission line projects.
• The ability to resolve conflicting priorities and schedules.

Salary commensurate with experience and education.

Schedule

Occasional travel/driving is required; therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements.
