This position offers the opportunity to manage the execution of multiple transmission and distribution projects. You will coordinate with internal and external departments to oversee the entire project lifecycle, including project execution, contract administration, planning, and resource management. Take ownership of all aspects of project performance—safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client experience—throughout the project lifecycle. Manage and direct the project team to ensure accountability, mentor and coach team members, and develop positive working relationships with client functional leads and stakeholders. Lead efforts to ensure projects are completed safely, satisfactorily, on time, and within budget. Support reporting of key performance indicators for schedule, budget, and other dashboard items. Identify and control construction risk, recognize and manage change, and communicate with stakeholders and supervisors. Prepare clear, concise reports that meet client requirements and analyze issues to provide solutions for improved results.

Schedule

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement from our future Lexington, KY office, with an expectation to spend three days a week in the office and two days working remotely. A generous relocation package is available, dependent upon your location.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program or a management/business degree.
  • 10 or more years of experience in the electric utility industry (engineering, construction, planning, etc.).
  • 7 or more years of experience specifically in Project Management of Utility Transmission projects.
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team setting.

Skills

  • Valued but not required:
  • Engineering design experience.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Construction and start-up experience.

Pay

Compensation range: $145,310.00 - $222,001.00. The total compensation package includes a base salary and a comprehensive benefits package. Individuals may also be eligible to participate in our yearly discretionary bonus.
