About the Role
Design and manage high-voltage power transmission systems at Mid, Senior, and Lead levels, focusing on overhead and underground transmission lines.
Responsibilities
- Engineer overhead and underground transmission lines using PLS-CADD, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Manage projects from conceptual routing and analysis to material procurement and construction packages.
- Apply advanced modeling tools such as PLS-TOWER, LPILE, and FAD to address site-specific challenges.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, coordinate with clients, and oversee multidisciplinary teams for successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with relevant experience.
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
- Knowledge of NESC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC standards.
- Effective communication skills.
Qualifications by Level
- Mid-level: 2+ years of experience (EIT preferred).
- Senior: 4+ years of experience (PE preferred, supervisory experience).
- Lead: 8+ years of experience (PE license, strategic oversight).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with LPILE, FAD, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and construction support.
