Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance of transmission network models, ensuring all input data is accurate, up to date, and reflective of current grid conditions.
- Operate Dayzer (or similar transmission modeling tools) to produce reliable nodal LMP forecasts across multiple ISOs for both short-term and long-term scenarios.
- Analyze model outputs to identify transmission congestion impacts and validate the accuracy of price forecasts.
- Work closely with trading teams to run ad-hoc sensitivity cases and provide data-driven insights into market dynamics.
- Assist in the preparation of regional price forecast presentations for management, highlighting key congestion drivers and market trends.
- Respond to data and analysis requests from various business units, ensuring high-quality technical support across the organization.
- Provide quantitative analysis of short-term transmission dynamics and long-term trends to assist in project decision-making and trading strategies.
