About the role
The Transitional Living Program Manager oversees a program designed to support individuals transitioning from foster care to independent living. The role involves managing staff, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the transitional living program
- Manage staff and ensure their professional development
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and policies
- Develop and implement training programs for residents
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance services
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social services or related field
- Experience working with individuals in foster care or similar populations
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
