About the role
The Transition Manager at KNAPP is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of transitions within the organization. This role ensures smooth change management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and ensure effective communication, training, and implementation during transitions.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage detailed transition plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Identify and allocate resources required to ensure successful transitions.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Create and implement change management strategies to minimize resistance and maximize employee adoption.
- Engage and train stakeholders affected by the transition.
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to address challenges.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders during transitions.
- Provide regular updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions as needed.
- Identify and develop mitigation plans to address potential risks and obstacles to successful transitions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the transition's success.
- Maintain thorough documentation of processes, decisions, and lessons learned.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to leadership on transition progress and outcomes.
- Identify best practices and opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements
- Technical qualifications (technical college, senior technical college, technical university degree, or comparable practical experience).
- Databases and SQL Knowledge.
- Knowledge of C++ and Java.
- Written and spoken command of English (German or other languages are an advantage).
- MS Office skills.
- Basic knowledge of automation technology with willingness to learn more about our products, systems, and processes.
- Solution-oriented and innovative.

- Passport or ability to obtain a passport.
