Transit Infrastructure Co-Op
Essential Functions
- Aid in the review and reporting of field project progress for MTIF projects.
- Collect testimonials, photos, videos, and other data elements related to Transit Infrastructure Projects.
- Engage MTIF jurisdictions and the public to gather testimonials about project improvements and their impact on the community.
- Create a GIS-StoryMap to allow online users to explore content and access detailed information for specific grant projects.
- Analyze data and provide supporting information for MTIF reporting and presentations.
- Support MTIF administration by reviewing ridership data for grant applications, recording MTIF pay applications, and reviewing project performance reports.
- Assist Metro in evaluating and utilizing park and ride locations.
- Perform other projects and tasks as assigned.

- Education: Full-time student pursuing a degree in Geography, Planning, Communications, Urban Affairs, or a related field.
- Experience: Two or more years of undergraduate studies; demonstrated success in academics.
Skills & Abilities
- Computer Skills: Excellent MS Excel skills and understanding of database programs; excellent ArcGIS skills and knowledge of software tools for creating interactive maps.
- Other Skills: Self-starter; ability to take initiative on assignments and work with limited supervision; resourceful, energetic, and goal-oriented.
Work Environment
Office with some outside field work.
