Transformation Senior
About the role
CLA is looking to hire a Senior - Transformation. The transformation senior supports CLA’s transformation priorities by helping evaluate, organize, and move business opportunities through the business navigation process while also supporting change management activities that help the business prepare for, adopt, and sustain change.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess business opportunities, ideas, and transformation requests.
- Clarify the business problem, expected value, impacted stakeholders, dependencies, risks, and decision needs.
- Support business case readiness by gathering inputs and preparing clear summaries for review.
- Identify change impacts, stakeholder needs, readiness considerations, communication needs, resistance themes, and adoption risks.
- Support development of change deliverables, including stakeholder impact assessments, change impact assessments, communication plans, readiness plans, training support materials, adoption tracking, and status updates.
- Help prepare stakeholders and impacted teams for upcoming changes by supporting communications, readiness activities, meeting preparation, and follow-up.
- Track opportunities through the business navigation process, including status, owners, actions, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
- Prepare materials and follow-up items for roadmap, governance, prioritization, investment, or change readiness discussions.
- Help ensure opportunities are routed to the right path, including approval, prioritization, deferral, further discovery, change support, implementation support, or closure.
- Maintain accurate documentation, trackers, action items, risks, dependencies, change impacts, and decision logs.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen visibility, alignment, readiness, adoption, and execution handoff.
Requirements
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect requests to firm priorities and transformation outcomes.
- Understanding of intake, governance, prioritization, business case, roadmap, portfolio, or transformation processes.
- Knowledge of change management fundamentals, including stakeholder impact, readiness, communications, resistance, adoption, training, and sustainment.
- Ability to assess change impacts and identify stakeholder, readiness, communication, and adoption needs.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, ask thoughtful questions, and organize information clearly.
- Ability to identify risks, dependencies, gaps, open decisions, and change-related impacts.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree. Degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field preferred.
4 years of professional services or public accounting experience required. Advanced technical knowledge of CLA processes is preferred.
Experience working with stakeholders to clarify needs, gather inputs, document decisions, and move work through a defined process preferred.
Experience supporting change deliverables such as stakeholder impact assessments, communication plans, readiness plans, training support materials, adoption tracking, or change status updates preferred.
