Transfer Press Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities

• Achieve acceptable scores on required aptitude tests
• Demonstrate mathematical ability, including converting between English and Metric units
• Understand machine computer functions, including experience with ARKU and PLC systems
• Effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Read, use, and understand various measuring devices accurately
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders with precision
• Apply knowledge of proper coil handling and loading/feeding materials into a press
• Safely operate a crane and move 30-ton dies
• Perform accurate Die Set operations and operate large bolsters or tables, including setup of transfer arms
• Set and manage programs for speed feeders and speed starkers

Qualifications

• Maintain an acceptable attendance and tardiness record
• Demonstrate physical coordination to safely lift and move products and tools
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills with keen attention to detail
