Transcription Services - Copy Editor Associated Press Format - Transcript Editor

About the role

This is a volunteer role with Social Media Ministries. The Transcript Editor will be responsible for editing and proofreading transcripts of Social Media Ministries Sermons to ensure accuracy with the spoken content. Your job will be to edit a 3,000- to 4,000-word document using Google Docs. You will make all edits according to the Style Guide we provide.

Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread transcripts of Social Media Ministries Sermons
• Ensure accuracy with the spoken content
• Make edits according to the Style Guide provided
• Edit 2 documents per week, or 1 if preferred

Qualifications

• Editing and proofreading skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written communication skills
• Knowledge of Biblical scriptures and religious terminology
• Experience in content editing or transcription
• Ability to work effectively without supervision
