Transaction Specialist

Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins & Mott, LLP is a law firm specializing in collection services and legal representation for government entities, including school districts, cities, counties, and hospital districts. With 14 primary offices across Texas and satellite locations in Oklahoma and Florida, we serve clients in seven states.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, full-time entry-level Transaction Specialist to assist in the daily functions of the Finance department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and related financial accounting.

Responsibilities

• Provide transactional support to the finance function, including storing payments and financial documents.
• Maintain accounting data with great attention to detail.
• Process invoices to clients and ensure timely, accurate payment processing.
• Utilize computer-based systems to research outstanding invoices and follow up on client and vendor billing inquiries.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all tasks.
• Work individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to contribute to company goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college courses or working toward a degree is a plus.
• Previous office experience.
• Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience in a law office is a plus.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attentive to detail, organized, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
