Transaction Management Associate (Private Equity Fundraising) - Private Capital Advisory
About the role
Lazard PCA is seeking to hire an Associate for its Primary Private Equity fundraising business. This position will be based in New York City and requires periodic travel.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and track market developments (deals in market, participating investors, current events)
- Support several Transaction Management teams in conducting fund due diligence, preparing marketing materials, and being a point of contact with clients
- Communicate and strategize with the Private Equity Distribution Team throughout the marketing process to close investor commitments
- Work with Analysts to prepare supporting materials required for communication of fundraising information to fund manager clients; communication occurs on a daily and weekly basis and includes coordinating investor roadshows; filtering and relaying investor feedback; completing due diligence requests, and detailing the overall status of the fund-raising
- Show strong writing skills required for marketing materials
- Show an organized and confident communication style internally and externally; ability to seamlessly manage senior client interaction
- Show capacity to multi-task and to manage multiple elements of a fund raising experience

Qualifications
Minimum of three years of experience in private equity fundraising or related field

Proficiency in conducting fund due diligence and preparing marketing materials
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Pay
The base salary range for this role is approximately $185,000 - $250,000 USD. Factors such as years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and relevant skills for the role contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered.
Schedule
Full-time position with occasional travel required
