Transaction Analyst
About the role
The Transaction Analyst provides superior customer service to our corporate trust clients through effective account administration and support to Transaction Managers. This includes monitoring contract provisions and responding to customer inquiries quickly and accurately. The TA works closely with the Transaction Managers and will process all related transactions, including Account Setup/Termination, collecting critical documents, cash disbursements, and other critical functions related to the Reinsurance Trust product.
Responsibilities
- Review and process account requests. This includes the preparation of a system direction to the Transaction Managers, or Operations team, to execute transactions such wire and check requests while ensuring all account actions are in accordance with department procedures
- Participate in the collection, tracking, and timely disbursement of trust assets
- Receive and record incoming assets ensuring deposits are completed promptly and accurately
- Communicate with clients regarding specific account information including upcoming deliverable dates, distributions, events, notices and generating client statements
- Organize the account set-up process, update appropriate spreadsheets and ticklers
- Manage the billing and collection of client fees
- Monitor ticklers and collect required items from our clients
- Complete reconciliations timely and accurately
- Review work product to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and meet all transactional deadlines
- Provide effective support of team members as requested
Requirements
- College Degree Preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Previous experience in the corporate trust industry a plus
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and commitment to execute transactions under tight deadlines
Qualifications
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and applicable regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite
- Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management
Skills
- Technical skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office
