About the Role

As CohnReznick grows, we have an exciting career opportunity for a Director to join our Transaction Advisory Services practice. This position will support our Transaction Advisory group, which provides a wide suite of services to clients, offering opportunities to learn, grow, and build skills. You’ll interact with team members across all levels within the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for both private equity and strategic corporate buyers.
  • Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends to identify sustainable earnings across industries such as manufacturing, distribution, hospitality, high-technology, and healthcare.
  • Coordinate with team and management regarding client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Effectively write and communicate engagement reports and deliverables to client management.
  • Mentor and coach staff.
  • Be market-facing by participating in firm-organized and industry events, building relationships with prospects and referral sources to generate new business and expand existing business.
  • Work additional hours as needed and travel out-of-town to clients as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred.
  • Strong current knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions.
  • 10+ years of combined audit and transaction advisory experience within various industries.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented environment.
  • Action-oriented, decisive approach to work with a willingness to take a hands-on role to ensure deliverables are met on time with high quality.

Pay

In California, the salary range for an Advisory Director/Managing Director is $200,000 to $350,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which also includes a discretionary performance bonus.
