About the role

As a transaction advisory associate, you will be a key member of buy-side and sell-side deal teams, utilizing your Microsoft Excel skills to compile and analyze target company financial data. You will participate in discussions with key executives and decision makers and help identify potential issues important to our clients' investment decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel skills to compile and analyze target company financial data
  • Participate in discussions with key executives and decision makers
  • Help identify potential issues important to clients' investment decisions
  • Write clear documentation of findings
  • Work in-person at our downtown Austin office
  • Manage projects effectively
  • Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
  • Gain exposure or experience with M&A transactions and Quality of Earnings reports
  • Have some experience with recurring revenue software companies

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting (preferably Big 4, national, regional or large local firm)
  • Experience with quality of earnings (QoE) analysis preferred
  • CPA, CFA, or eligible to sit for CPA or CFA exam
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Highly motivated team player
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Aptitude for project management
  • Exposure or some experience with M&A transactions and Quality of Earnings reports
  • Experience with recurring revenue software companies preferred

Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This is an in-person position based in downtown Austin. There are no travel expectations.
