Responsibilities
- Ensure that guests abide by all policies and procedures while entering, riding, and exiting the tram.
- Drive trams.
- Give safety spiel to passengers prior to beginning the transport.
- Provide information to guests as they are shuttled to and from the parking lot through spieling and interpersonal communication.
- Direct traffic to the toll plaza and buses into the east and west parking lots.
- Ensure that guests stay on sidewalks while walking to and from the park to the parking lots.
- Maintain clean and sanitary vehicles and work areas.
- Monitor the parking lot from 40’ in the air – must climb a 40 ft. tower.
- Use daily logs to check assigned vehicles for any abnormalities and report to supervisors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Recent or past experience driving large vehicles preferred.
- Have a valid Georgia Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Be available to work flexible hours at nights, overnights, and on weekends.
- Ability to work in an independent setting.
- Will be required to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and/or crouch for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and complete non-routine tasks as assigned.
- React well in stressful and emergency situations.
- Possess above average communication skills.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Be safety conscious, while also outgoing with a friendly demeanor.
- Be willing to actively engage guests.
- Continued sitting, standing, and bending; frequent kneeling.
- Eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech.
- Manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition.
- Stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day; walk over 3 miles per day over various surfaces.
- Lift and carry 25 lbs. over 25 feet over various surfaces; lift and lower 5 lbs. above shoulder level.
- Must be able to climb a stepladder up to 6 feet in height. Climb a 40-foot tower.
