Training Supervisor

About the role

The position involves motivating donors who contribute high-quality plasma, which becomes life-changing medicines. Reporting to the Center Manager, the role includes overseeing employees in production areas.

Responsibilities

• Monitor center training needs to ensure completion of cross-training and annual re-certification training
• Review Quality Control Records
• Cook up new employee orientation and participate in the hiring process
• Manage the production area, motivate employees to meet their performance goals and comply with company quality standards and procedures
• Counsel hourly staff on operational, safety, and customer service concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Consult and refer to management team for escalated donor/employee concerns

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CPR and AED certification
• Frequent bending and reaching
• Ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds, and occasional lifting to 50 lbs
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance

Qualifications

• Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens requires prolonged glove wear

Pay

$22.80 - $31.35 per hour
