About the role
The UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center (KFAC) is seeking a qualified Training Specialist to provide Marcus Crisis Prevention Program (MCPP) training for clinical staff. This temporary position supports a staff development initiative that includes delivery of an initial training series, a follow-up refresher session, and limited coordination with KFAC leadership to support successful implementation.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a planning meeting to finalize training logistics and scheduling
- Deliver a two-day, in-person MCPP training for clinical staff
- Provide instruction, demonstration, coaching, and guided practice during training activities
- Deliver a 1.5-hour refresher training session
- Coincide with KFAC leadership regarding training implementation and follow-up needs
Requirements
- Experience delivering professional training, staff development, or instructional programming
- Relevant experience in crisis prevention, behavioral, clinical, or autism service settings
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills
