About the role

The Training Specialist I, D Shift, Line 1 (CMO) focuses on two primary areas: onboarding (OB) for new hire training and on-the-job training (OJT) for existing personnel in functional manufacturing areas. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering training materials and documentation to ensure compliance with cGMP requirements. The Training Specialist will work closely with manufacturing processes, including processing source materials, equipment and component preparation and sterilization, aseptic filling, lyophilization, and inspection & packaging.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) to achieve compliance with cGMP needs of the facility.
  • Understand manufacturing processes, including but not limited to processing source materials, equipment and component preparation and sterilization, aseptic filling, lyophilization, and inspection & packaging.
  • Use current instructional design techniques to create and maintain On-Job Training (OJT), Instructor-Led Training (ILT), and Computer-Based Training (CBT) initiatives and programs.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and perform routine audits of training records to ensure compliance.
  • Deliver training courses to all levels of JHS employees.
  • Create training materials and perform competency assessments.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify employee training needs and present solutions to resolve training, productivity, and performance issues.
  • Stay informed of new and current training methodologies, theories, and techniques through continued education.
  • Onboard new hires and perform training coordinator functions such as adding roles to curriculums and approving new hire curriculums.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience and completion of the Train the Trainer course.
  • Leadership experience and prior training experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Trackwise, Master Control, and Compliance Wire.

Pay

Hiring wage: $28.24–$42.39 per hour + 15% shift differential.

Schedule

Full-time, Friday–Sunday and every other Thursday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.
