The location for this program is NW Indiana/Hammond area with remote training options. This no-cost RBT training program is designed for individuals interested in ABA therapy, particularly those who support children with autism. It offers a 40-hour, BACB-compliant training course that can be completed at your own pace. The program includes one group collaboration meeting and optional check-ins with our clinical team. Upon successful completion, participants will receive reimbursement for the $110 exam and application fee, and will be eligible for employment with Achievers ABA.

Program

  • A 40-hour, BACB-compliant RBT training course delivered through RethinkSelf-paced, allowing you to set your own schedule.

  • One group collaboration meeting and optional check-ins with our clinical team.

  • Expected completion: 4 weeks.

  • No cost to you at any point during training.

What Happens After

  • After passing the competency assessment with one of our BCBAs, you will apply for your RBT credential through the BACB and take the Pearson VUE exam.

  • Achievers ABA will reimburse the full $110 in exam and application fees after your first 30 days of employment.

  • Upon certification and onboarding approval, you will work 1:1 with children with autism in their homes and in clinic, implementing individualized treatment plans under direct BCBA supervision.

Who We're Looking For

  • We are open to candidates with no prior ABA experience. The RBT credential is specifically designed to be earned through training.

  • Candidates should have reliable transportation in the Hammond/NW Indiana area and be available afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends.

  • They must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent, able to pass a background check, and eligible for hire.

  • Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are especially encouraged to apply and are compensated at a higher rate upon hire.
