Training Officer

About the role

The Education Officer(s), under limited supervision, assists in, leads, and helps ensure the readiness of Montgomery County Emergency Medical Services (MCEMS) by supporting the Captain of Compliance and Education in delivering educational instruction to pre-hospital care providers, Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs), and all levels of EMS students. This role contributes to maintaining a high standard of professionalism and patient care within Montgomery County EMS.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Captain of Compliance and Education in developing and delivering educational programs for pre-hospital care providers and EMS students.
• Lead training sessions and instructional activities to enhance the skills and knowledge of EMS personnel.
• Support the readiness and operational effectiveness of Montgomery County EMS through education and compliance initiatives.
• Ensure educational instruction aligns with professional standards and best practices in emergency medical services.
