Training Manager
Position Summary
The Training Manager is responsible for owning and governing the site’s training system, ensuring effectiveness, compliance, and alignment with operational goals. This role translates business needs into strategic training initiatives that support safety, quality, and performance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, HR, Quality, Safety, and Continuous Improvement teams to identify skill gaps and training priorities.
Develop and execute site training strategies aligned with enterprise programs and business needs.
Lead and develop the Training Administrator and Operator III Trainers, ensuring strong team capability and accountability.
Oversee training programs including onboarding, certification, progression, and leadership development.
Drive performance against training KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness.
Ensure all training systems, documentation, and records are audit-ready and compliant.
Support a safe work environment and reinforce Rockline’s RRITE values: Renew, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) plus 6–7 years of experience in training, operations, HR, quality, or compliance.
Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
Knowledge of training systems, compliance, and governance in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training record management.
Strong understanding of audit readiness and certification processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Hands-on experience delivering or supporting training in an operations environment.
Preferred Master’s degree
Training certifications or leadership development credentials
Lean or continuous improvement experience
Work Environment
On-site role based in Russellville, AR
Combination of office and production floor work
Up to 10% travel annually
