About the role
The Training Manager drives operational effectiveness and skill development of frontline employees and corporate staff across the In-Home Services (IHS) and Manufacturing & Distribution (M&D) divisions. This role addresses critical operational challenges by bridging learning gaps, scaling training delivery across multi-site teams, and modernizing instructional methods. Through strategic partnership with business leaders, the position ensures workforce readiness, safety compliance, and continuous employee development aligned with operational goals.
What success looks like
- Lead, mentor, and support a distributed team of trainers and training supervisors across multiple geographic locations to achieve operational training targets
- Drive high-quality, timely training focused on technical skills, safety protocols, compliance, and customer service standards
- Partner directly with business leaders to identify learning needs and manage end-to-end training execution from planning through facilitation
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to guarantee training programs remain effective, engaging, and aligned with department OKRs
- Modernize instructional delivery methods by integrating innovative classroom technologies, modern learning tools, and AI-driven training solutions
Core skills and competencies
- Proven track record of managing, motivating, and developing remote or multi-site teams across various geographic locations
- Ability to shift seamlessly between operational, safety-first technical training and corporate professional development
- Strong skills in organization, schedule management, pre-work execution, and driving complex training projects to completion
- Deep operational understanding of adult learning principles, facilitation best practices, and training logistics
- AI literacy and application skills to enhance instructional design, automate administrative processes, and optimize training engagement
- Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience directly managing teams, with a strong preference for remote or multi-site team management
- At least 2 years of experience with distributed or multi-site team leadership
- At least 2 years of experience with technical and safety compliance training program management
- At least 2 years of experience with adult learning methodology and facilitation
Pay
$72,350.00 - $103,400.00 per year
