Training Developers - Huntsville, AL

In-Depth Engineering Corporation seeks Training Developers to support our rapidly growing engineering work on Ground Missile Defense (GMD) Weapons Systems. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. The work is performed on-site at our customer site in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify and develop appropriate learning solutions.
• Design and develop learning products for multiple modalities, including online, in-person, hybrid, synchronous, and asynchronous formats.
• Analyze learning metrics to evaluate instructional effectiveness and improvement opportunities.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and drawings, utilize subject matter experts, team members, and established processes to create and sustain training materials under general supervision.
• Develop maintenance training curriculum using ADDIE.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
• Degree in STEM discipline, Instructional Systems Design, Adult Learning Studies, Education, or related field:
  • 5 years’ relevant work experience with an Associate’s degree,
  • 3 years with a Bachelor’s,
  • 0 years with a Master’s,
  • or 7 years’ experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Education Suite, Learning Management Systems, or other related software suites.
• Experience developing learning materials for technical disciplines.
• Experience applying adult learning theories and instructional design principles.
• Curriculum design experience.

Pay

Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $120,000

Schedule

• Flex 4/10 Schedule or Flex 9/80 with every other Friday off.
• Straight 5/8 schedule.
