About the role

Southern States Toyota Lift offers comprehensive forklift training programs tailored to your equipment and work environment. Our experienced instructors can certify operators on all types of powered equipment including electric forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, boom and scissor lifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of forklifts and comply with all OSHA regulations.
• Participate in regular refresher training sessions to maintain certification.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of forklifts and other equipment.
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating forklifts preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious attitude.

Pay

• Salary range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour.
