Training and LMS Coordinator
About the Role
Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and solutions-focused individual to support Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives. This role involves managing training modules, coordinating trainings, maintaining L&D systems, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective training delivery.
Responsibilities
- Continually input training modules/materials, assign employees to trainings, track completion, and maintain updates in LMS/CMS with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Coordinate trainings by communicating with trainers and employees, creating and sending invites, reserving rooms, or creating Zoom links.
- Maintain the L&D email inbox and calendar, and communicate with internal and external groups about training needs and resources.
- Develop and proofread accurate reports for stakeholders.
- Support onsite personnel by answering questions, providing technological assistance, assisting with training enrollment, and directing individuals to relevant information sources.
- Use email, meetings, phone calls, Teams, and text to communicate with remote site teams, corporate departments, parent corporation, and other business units about upcoming trainings, L&D needs, training completions, and department initiatives.
- Obtain rosters and employee information from sites and departments, cross-referencing multiple sources for accuracy.
- Assemble training materials such as role-related binders, booklets of translated materials, training guides, and employee content guides.
- Track site needs for training-related materials, order materials, and track delivery to job sites and the corporate office.
- Assist with developing training materials, acquiring feedback, copywriting, creating knowledge checks, guiding departments in the training development process, and quality control of materials.
- Facilitate presentations for the L&D group as needed.
- Assist with classroom setup and breakdown at the Aurora and Dove Valley offices.
- Collaborate with site teams and office departments to ensure the success of L&D team tasks, initiatives, and company objectives, including the evaluation of training programs.
- Double-check all LMS content, tracking, rosters, reports, coordinated trainings, and company communications to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong computer and technology skills, with comfort using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook (or similar software).
- Ability to work accurately and autonomously on both independent and collaborative projects.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning and navigating online databases.
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication that is clear, concise, and error-free.
- Comfortable presenting information in front of groups.
- Proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving.
- Ability to assist with training setup and help others with training or information requests.
- Ability to travel to Aurora and Dove Valley to set up trainings and/or materials.
- Openness to feedback and learning in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly enthusiastic and enjoys working with other people.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Degree in Business/Administration, Education, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred: Previous experience in LMS/CMS management, training, programming, office administration, computer science, education, or a related field.
- Preferred: Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Preferred: Competence in creating assessments that align directly with objectives or key skills.
- Preferred: Proficiency in capturing and editing videos.
- Preferred: Familiarity with utility-scale solar PV, BESS, or general construction.
- Preferred: Proficiency in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole.
Pay
$55,000 - $70,000 annually, based on a full-time schedule.
