Training and Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development activities for employees.
• Identify training needs and develop training materials.
• Formulate and develop plans to meet specific development and training needs and challenges.
• Utilize knowledge of policies, procedures, and formal training to recommend and administer programs that promote high staff morale and a good return on the Credit Union's investment.
• Participate in training and professional organizations to stay abreast of new training methods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Training and Development preferred.
• Minimum of three years of training experience; experience within a financial institution preferred.

Skills

• Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Ability to design and implement effective training and development programs.
• Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
• Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
• Well organized and attentive to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to meet deadlines.
