Responsibilities
- Record new hire's job performance on proficiency sheet.
- Adjust staffing and training based on staffing requirements and line supervisor's guidance.
- Conduct plant tours for applicants.
- Give new hire orientations.
- Execute processes ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
- Support Foster Poultry Farms' mission, vision, and ACTION guiding principles: Accountability, Collaboration, Truth-Seeking, Initiative, Ownership, and Nimbleness.
Qualifications
- Able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Able to submit and pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and E-verify.
- Able to read and write English.
- Able to communicate with all levels including management.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to make decisions regarding deviations from procedures.
- Able to work safely and set an example of safe working habits.
- Able to wear company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Able to effectively train hourly personnel in processing and packaging departments.

The food safety and quality policies are summarized and communicated in a company handbook and at training sessions. Each new hire is provided a handbook and attends a food safety training session before beginning work. All employees attend a refresher training session at least once per year. Records are maintained reflecting the distribution of employee handbooks and attendance at the training sessions.
