Trainer - Sales
As the Trainer - Sales, you will help drive transformation of the sales and sales operations team through development and deployment of sales training, productivity tools, ongoing measurement, and communication of various sales and sales enablement technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver sales, sales tool, and business process training via web, video, e-learning, or in-person, using an engaging, high-energy, high-impact facilitation style and strategy.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for internal customers, continuing to teach tips and tricks for efficiency and using feedback for future process improvement opportunities.
- Develop and document sales operations tools and processes in the form of instruction manuals, job aids, presentations, or webinars.
- Monitor the assigned sales organization’s usage and minimum required standards for maintaining CRM and other sales-related software and technology; perform high-level analysis.
- Partner with sales operations and IT teams on new application changes, development, or testing, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify areas of joint effort.
- Identify opportunities for sales process improvement and work closely with sales management to implement efficiency improvements using Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2 years required, 4 years preferred in a sales, sales operations, or training role.
- 2 years required, 4 years preferred developing training material, sales communications, or employee development programs from scratch, formally or informally.
- 2 years required, 4 years preferred experience with PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and web conferencing tools.
- 2 years preferred working with e-learning software and learning management systems, including Articulate, Camtasia, and Oracle LMS.
- 2 years preferred working with CRM applications.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- High-energy, high-impact facilitation style.
- Ability to build strong relationships, ask strategic questions, and uncover needs through natural conversations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage a variety of resources.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of LEAN or Six Sigma principles.
Pay
$59,829 - $77,778 annually. This amount reflects the range Wesco reasonably believes it will pay for the position, though final offers may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or collective bargaining agreements. Eligible positions may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, and certain sales roles may offer a commission structure based on sales results.
