Trainer / Dining Room Server
About the role
Acts is currently seeking candidates for our Dining Room Server / Trainer position. This role offers student-friendly schedules, scholarship programs, and referral bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Follow established meal service standards and workflows
- Create an enjoyable dining experience for residents and their guests
- Greet residents and their guests
- Communicate menu items and facilitate food and drink orders using iPads (POS)
- Clear tables, booths, and chairs
- Quickly work to turn tables for additional reservations
- Run food, coordinate the delivery of condiments and other service items
- Train new team members and support cross training of existing servers
Requirements
- Entry level position with on-the-job training
- 1-3 years of experience in a food or healthcare setting (preferred)
- Minors (under the age of 18) must obtain a valid work permit, if required by the State in which they are being employed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency with iPads (POS)

Pay
Pay Range: $14.20 - $16.69 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
