Trainer - Cloud-based AI Platform (Ref: 5701)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive training plan aligned to the City’s AI platform pilot, including training approach, audience groups, delivery methods, and refresher options.
• Create role-based training materials for general end users, administrative users, IT personnel, and other stakeholder groups.
• Develop user guides, quick reference guides, job aids, FAQs, knowledge base content, slide decks, training scripts, exercises, and other adoption documentation.
• Provide training on approved AI use cases: document generation, formatting, summarization, editing, report generation, content review, source referencing, and responsible AI use.
• Support training related to AI governance, including human review, accuracy checking, protection of sensitive information, and compliance with City guidelines.
• Deliver training in multiple formats: live virtual, in-person (if required), recorded demonstrations, self-service materials, and follow-up sessions.
• Cook up with the implementation team to understand platform configuration, user roles, permissions, workflows, templates, dashboards, and support resources.
• Aid in administrator/IT training: user management, configuration, role-based access, system usage reporting, sandbox usage, and support escalation.
• Prepare clear, accessible training materials for non-technical City staff.
• Collect feedback and revise materials to improve clarity, usability, and adoption.
• Support pilot launch, go-live readiness, post-launch adoption, refresher training, and documentation updates.
• Aid in developing adoption-support materials: communications, department-specific examples, use case walkthroughs, and practical exercises.
• Document training attendance, completion, FAQs, and recommended improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Experience developing and delivering training materials for technology platforms, software implementations, digital transformation, enterprise applications, AI tools, data platforms, or similar systems.
• Experience creating user guides, training decks, quick reference materials, knowledge base articles, FAQs, and job aids.
• Experience delivering training to mixed audiences: general business, administrative, technical, and leadership.
• Ability to translate technical platform functionality into clear instructions for non-technical users.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting user adoption, change management, or go-live training for new technology.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers, implementation leads, technical staff, business users, and SMEs.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain version-controlled materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience training users on AI platforms, generative AI tools, Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT Enterprise, document automation, knowledge management, or data/reporting tools.
• Experience supporting public sector, municipal government, utility, healthcare, or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with responsible AI practices (human review, privacy, data protection).
• Experience developing training for document generation, summarization, reporting, dashboards, workflow automation, or knowledge retrieval.
• Experience creating training content for live instruction and self-service/on-demand use, including videos and recorded demos.
• Familiarity with accessibility considerations for training materials.
• Experience supporting pilot programs, phased rollouts, or enterprise technology adoption across multiple departments.
