Trainer - BuildingPoint Central

About the Role

BuildingPoint, the industry leader in building construction technology, is seeking a Trainer to conduct in-person training and certifications for our customers. As the dealer for Trimble, HP SitePrint, and LightYX, we are at the forefront of layout and 3D scanning technologies rapidly adopted across all construction trades. The Trainer will play a crucial role in bridging the skilled labor gap by providing customers with the tools and skillsets needed to implement our technologies on their construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage a training calendar and coordinate between sales and customers to schedule in-person training.
• Travel within TX, OK, NM, and AZ to conduct on-site training and certifications for customers.
• Stay current with technology and product updates to advise customers on the latest workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction layout experience, preferably with Trimble GNSS, Robotic Total Stations, and Scanning equipment.
• 2+ years of experience training new users on construction layout technologies.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight.

Preferred Requirements

• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience working with Trimble FieldLink
• Experience with HP SitePrint or competitive products

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and adaptability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work past normal business hours as necessary.
