About the role

Transdev in Olathe, Kansas is hiring a Driver/Operator Trainee to facilitate classroom and behind-the-wheel training to drivers. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and behind-the-wheel training to new drivers
• Maintain required training documentation and completion for compliance with state certification, company policies and district, state & federal requirements
• Additional safety program responsibilities such as, accident investigation, forms compliance, & safety meetings
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsements for a minimum of 2 years
• Minimum 2 years' experience driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)
• 1 to 2 years transportation & safety experience
• Knowledge of federal and state safety rules and regulations
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
