Trainee Field Technician

About the role

FJA are recruiting for a number of Trainee Field Technicians who will be based across the South West region. You will be required to assist in leak detection activities. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday with flexible working hours.

Responsibilities

• Using supplied technology, record acoustic sound files across a water distribution network using digital equipment
• Working independently within urban/suburban environments
• Adhere to performance indicators set out by the client
• Liaising with supervisors
• Work to achieve targets

Requirements

• Used to working outdoors and interacting with members of the public
• Self-motivated individual with an eye for detail and a focus on customer service and teamwork
• A full clean UK driving licence
• Able to prioritize a variety of tasks
• Excellent communication skills

Skills

• Water Hygiene, Street works and Manual handling accreditation – full training will be provided
