Responsibilities
- Manage customers' service needs by working with the account manager, preparing proposals, answering incoming phone calls, greeting and directing insurance office visitors, entering change requests and endorsements, and maintaining the agency management system with current information.
- Handle front desk and administrative responsibilities, including distributing quotes to prospective and current customers, assisting with coverage changes, completing service requests, providing billing support, understanding and discussing coverages with clients, developing good working relationships with underwriters, ensuring client issues are efficiently handled, and establishing and preserving a solid business rapport with clients.
- Maintain accuracy in the agency management system, quoting system, and carrier systems, and add email personal policy documents as needed.
- Answer office phones, assist customers thoroughly, and direct calls to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Perform additional office projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Willing to train the right candidate with excellent customer service and must be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance License within 6 months of hire.
- Willing to work full-time in the office at our Waupaca, WI location.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate various computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, etc.).
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Show excellent organizational skills and strong problem-solving skills.
- Have exceptional customer service experience and skills.
