About the role
City of Newcastle has an exciting career opportunity for a Trainee Business Services within our Planning and Environment directorate. This is a 2-year fixed-term contract where you will be part of the business support, process improvement and customer excellence team, providing a customer-centric approach to our community. You will work closely with highly experienced and qualified people within the Planning and Environment team, as part of a professional, dedicated, and passionate team that supports professional development opportunities.
What you'll do
- General administration duties
- Drafting correspondence and reports
- Preparation of agendas
- Coordination of meetings
- Briefing notes and memos
- Minute taking
- Internal and external customer enquiries
- General research

Pay
From $55,118.76 + 17.5% annual leave loading, yearly payment + 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week.
Schedule
35-hour working week.
