Trainee

Duties And Responsibilities

• Aid Technician in executing and completing daily tasks as directed.
• Prepare, set up, and complete necessary paperwork according to client and company guidelines under direct supervision.
• Establish and maintain boundaries and surveillance of the work area, preventing unauthorized access.
• Supervise the replenishment and organization of required supplies to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and vehicles.
• Observe and document test procedures and ensure compliance with internal and industry standards.
• Learn and practice the procedures necessary to perform NDT work and prepare for certification in required methods.
• Understand and document the NDT testing process.
• Adhere to and enforce company safety protocols and practices at all times.
• Comply with and enforce company policies.
• Show excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive attitude towards both internal and external clients.
• Ensure adherence to safe operation and personal safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge And Skills

• Familiarity with NDT equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documents.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Basic understanding of inspection technology.
• Strong comprehension of English language, including grammar and composition.
• Good organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education And Work Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• This is an entry-level position with minimal or no prior experience.
• Experience in NDT industry is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Certificates And Licenses

• Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under the company insurance program.
