Trainee

Duties And Responsibilities

• Aid the Technician in executing and completing daily tasks as assigned.
• Prepare, set up, and complete necessary paperwork as required by both client and company standards under direct supervision.
• Establish and maintain boundaries and surveillance of the work area, if necessary, and ensure unauthorized personnel do not enter the work area.
• Manage the replenishment and organization of required supplies to perform assigned methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and vehicles.
• Observe and document test procedures and product compliance to learn internal and industry specifications.
• Learn and observe the procedures required to perform work and gain certification in the required NDT methods.
• Learn and observe the proper documentation process required for NDT testing.
• Adhere to and enforce the company's required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
• Comply with and adhere to the company's policies at all times.
• Show excellent communication skills, professionalism, and promote a positive customer service attitude both internally and externally.
• Show adherence to and enforcement of safe operation and personal safety practices using required Personal Protective Equipment and follow company policy.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge And Skills

• Knowledge of NDT equipment, preferred.
• Ability to read technical documents, preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products, preferred.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of inspection technology, preferred.

Education And Work Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• This is an entry-level position with minimal or no prior experience required.
• Experience in the NDT industry is preferred.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under the company insurance program.
