Trainee Assistant Cash Officer (TACO)

About the role

Handle daily cash transactions including deposits, withdrawals, remittances, and payments with accuracy while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash transactions (deposits, withdrawals, remittances, payments) accurately
• Ensure cash balancing and maintain vault limits as per bank policy
• Provide prompt and professional customer service at the counter
• Verify instruments and customer information in compliance with KYC/AML guidelines
• Maintain proper records and documentation of transactions
• Identify and report discrepancies or suspicious transactions
• Support branch operations and assist in achieving service standards
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Master’s degree in any discipline
• Experience in banking operations, cash handling, core banking, back office operations, ATM operations, retail banking, teller operations, cashiering, or cash management
