Trailer Technician/Welder

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and small repairs on trailers
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems
- Repair or replace damaged components, such as bearings, brakes, lights, and suspension systems
- Install standard and custom trailer hitches, brake controllers and wiring
- Install new snowplows, salt spreaders, and wiring along with repairing old snow equipment
Job Qualifications
- MINIMUM 3 Years of Mechanical Experience required
- Current and valid Driver’s License
- Experience fixing bearings, brakes, axles, brake controllers, and wiring is required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of trailer systems and components
- Able to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
- Proficiency in welding and torching techniques
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Skilled in effective written communication
