Trailer Technician/Mechanic

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and perform a variety of repairs on semi-trailers
• Steel, stainless steel and aluminum welding
• Air and electrical system diagnostics and repair
• Respond to mobile service calls as needed, ensuring timely and professional repairs
• Preventative maintenance
• Certified to conduct DOT inspections (or willing to become certified)
• Trailer body repairs
• Follow company repair and safety best practices
• Maintain and promote a safe work environment
• Use and promote PPE and the use of safety equipment
• Aid other technicians as needed

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• A basic set of tools and previous experience preferred
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
• A valid Driver's License (Required)
