Trailer Technician Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards
• Document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
• Work with supervisors and team members to keep fleets operational

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in performing repairs on class 7 - 8 trailers
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues
• Valid driver’s license
• Own and maintain personal tools and toolbox necessary to perform job duties
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years’ experience in performing repairs on class 7 - 8 trailers
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues

Working Conditions

• Exposure to traffic, dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical irritants such as oils and greases
• May involve lifting heavy objects, accessing tight equipment spaces, and bending, stooping, crouching, or crawling while performing repairs
