What You’ll Do
- Perform accident repairs on trailers and heavy trucks (rails, panels, roofs, posts, doors, and floors).
- Handle collision and bodywork repairs including sanding, prepping, and refinishing.
- Conduct DOT and preventative maintenance inspections on trailers (brakes, suspension, lighting, wiring, airbags, and more).
- Complete welding and fabrication tasks for structural and cosmetic repairs.
- Assist with painting and refinishing as needed.
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient, top-quality repairs.
What You’ll Need
- 4+ years of experience in trailer.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, braking systems, suspension, and body structures.
- Welding and fabrication skills (MIG, stick, or plasma cutting a plus).
- A safety-first mindset and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Must provide your own tools and have reliable transportation.
- Overtime flexibility when needed.
