Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance service on 48ft. and 53ft. dry van trailers
- Repairs suspension and running gear components
- Repairs landing gear assembly and components
- Repairs wheel components and tires
- Repairs brake and air components
- Repairs electrical, lighting, and wiring components
- Repairs rear frame and door components
- Repairs side, nose, and roof components
- Repairs interior and floor components
- Performs preventative maintenance inspections and repairs
- Maintains welding and metal fabrication skills
- Performs service calls
- Washes and fuels equipment when necessary
- Road tests vehicles to ensure quality repair services were performed
Qualifications
- Possess a valid Driver's License
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Passes a drug screen
