Trailer Maintenance Technician/CDL Driver

About the Role

As a Trailer Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and on the road. This role is primarily based in our trailer shop, with driving responsibilities as needed to support operations.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on semi-trailers
• Diagnosing and repairing trailer components, including brakes, lights, suspension, tires, and other DOT-related items
• Supporting DOT inspections and ensuring compliance standards are met
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
• Operating a semi-truck on an as-needed basis to cover routes during vacations, call-offs, or other staffing needs
• Communicating clearly with operations and maintenance teams to keep equipment moving and downtime minimized

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with semi-trailer maintenance and repair
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance
• Flexibility to transition between shop work and driving responsibilities
• Commitment to safety—for yourself and your teammates
• CDL-A driver's license required (willing to train the right candidate)
