About the role
The Traffic/Roadway Engineer will be responsible for designing and maintaining roadways, intersections, and traffic control systems.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing traffic management plans
- Assessing and improving roadway safety
- Collaborating with other engineers and departments to ensure compliance with regulations
- Conducting field inspections and collecting data for analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in traffic engineering
- Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with traffic simulation software
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of traffic signal design and operation
- Understanding of traffic flow and traffic modeling

Pay
Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
