About the role

We are enthusiastically searching for all levels of Traffic Engineers and Designers to join our growing team throughout the southern US. Selected candidates can expect to work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects. Key roles include: Junior level, mid-level and senior level Traffic Engineers (including signing & pavement markings and traffic signals), Traffic CAD Designers (including signing & marking design and traffic signal design).

Responsibilities

  • Work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects.
  • Contribute to the planning, designing, and managing of transportation systems.
  • Restore and replace aging infrastructure.
  • Help public and private clients find smarter, more advanced ways to move people across cities, countries, and continents.
  • Partner with local municipalities, government agencies, commercial clients, and public-private partnerships.

Requirements

  • CAD Designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience in large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects, specifically highway transportation projects.
  • Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads.
  • Experience in signing/pavement marking design.
  • Experience in traffic signal design.
  • Experience in signing / pavement marking design.
  • Experience in Interstate design, and complex interchanges preferred.

Desired Skillsets

  • EIT Certification or PE License.
  • State DOT experience.
  • Knowledge and prior use of the AASHTO Green Book and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
