Dewberry is seeking a Traffic Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Transportation Group in our Baltimore, MD office. Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of a licensed professional engineer on various traffic engineering tasks, including:
- Design and studies related to traffic signals, signing, and pavement markings
- Work zone traffic control
- Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
- Connected and Autonomous (CAV) vehicle technology
- Roadway lighting
- Traffic operational and safety analyses
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in transportation
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Experience using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment

Pay
Salary Range: $18.75/hour - $29.75/hour, depending on skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
