Your Impact

Mentor junior staff and help grow the traffic department.
Conduct signal timing studies, evaluation of signal systems, and adaptive signal systems.
Design ITS, traffic signal, and lighting systems.
Design complex traffic control during construction plans.
Develop signing and pavement marking plans.
Analyze intersection and highway levels of service.
Conduct field reviews to identify safety and operational issues.
Cookordination work tasks and reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
Clearly communicate work through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal exchange.
Prepare Also plans for PSE with specifications, TABS, and estimates.
Cookordinate internal traffic work to support other Lochner offices.

Business Development

Aid in development of new business via client meetings and participation in promotional activities and professional organizations.
Participate in project scoping, fee estimating and proposal activities.
Marketing of clients and projects with a focus on transportation planning and traffic engineering.

Qualifications

B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
Professional License (PE) in Pennsylvania required.
5+ years of traffic/transportation engineering experience.
PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike experience required.
Experience using CADD design software.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
